The total price includes accommodation in Wellington in a 3* kitchenette included, twin room for 2 or 6 nights depending on the workshop selected, return daily transfers to the workshop, arrival and departure airport transfers, the selected workshop and a dinner out to show off your newly made footwear.
1 Day Sandal Workshop
(Materials included)
Create a pair of sandals, made to fit your feet! Select from 5 styles and from a stunning range of leather and fastenings. Choose from the Roman, T-bar, Double strap, Woven and Slide designs. Classes are held 9-5pm daily. Beginners are welcome.

1 Day Leather Sneaker, Shoe or Bott

The Sneaker workshop is the most accessible of all, there is no specialised equipment involved and you’ll be wearing a pair of shoes – of your own creation – in just one day! Classes are held 10-5pm.

5 Day Shoe Workshop
(Materials included)
On this workshop you will be making a pair of shoes – from start to finish! Choose from a derby or strap design (shoe or boot).
Day 1: Selecting and cutting leather. Day 2: Sewing. Day 3: Sewing cont. Day 4. Lasting. Day 5: Attaching soles.
Shoe lasts (forms) determine the shape of your final shoe. Choose from Dress, Nature, Point, Character or Sneaker. LASTS (shoe forms) come in a variety of sizes! Using your feet measurements, your feet will be matched to lasts. *Though lasts can be individually modified to fit your measurements, be aware, Cinderella, that not all lasts fit all feet. Classes are held 10-5pm daily. Beginners are welcome.

9 Day Intensive Shoemaking Workshop

On this workshop you’ll be designing, patterning and making a pair of custom designed shoes or boots.
Day 1: Designing and pattern-making. Day 2: Testing mock-ups. Day 3-6: Sewing. Day 7: Lasting. Day 8-9: Sole and heels.
9 day Intensive workshops are held by request and run over 2 weeks. Classes are held 10-5pm daily. Beginners are welcome. Choose from foam (EVA), cork, rubber and leather soling materials. Heel height depends on your choice of shoe last.
